March 3, 2019 – Crikvenica, Religion Teachers’ Conference
It is our privilege to be at a conference where people who work with children in the context of religion come together – religion teachers. Although we know that this cartoon is already known to many, this was an opportunity to talk in person. Our Vanja introduced the Superbook program, presented a wide variety of materials available in Superbook program and how it can be used as part of a religious education program.
Although there were no children at the gathering, we did invite Gizmo to demonstrate the dance with the “Song of salvation” which is an important part of our every event and, with a lot of laughter and just a slight protest, everyone danced the steps together. It is always best to gain your own experience of this dance 🙂
Later, we met some of the religion teachers and heard that many of them were already using Superbook cartoons in their religious education program to bring Bible stories to children, to help children understand those stories better, and to get to know the Author of those stories.
